This unique motorcycle round trip in the saddle of a Harley-Davidson, provides a combination of the major sights, discovering the most hidden corners of the Baltic region and above all genuine driving pleasure on beautiful motorcycle routes varied by lakes and hills with the finest curves and solitary straight roads. Route of the Baltic States motorcycle tour

The Route:

Day 1: Berlin (D)

Welcome to Berlin, the German capital! Today check in at your hotel and pick up of your Harley-Davidson rental motorcycle.

Day 2: Berlin (D) > Warsaw (PL)

Early in the morning, you head to the Baltic States. Before you arrive in Lithuania, you will have an overnight stay near Warsaw in Poland.

Day 3: Warsaw (PL) > Riga (LV)

From Warsaw you continue on towards the north to Latvia, to the capital Riga.

Day 4: Riga (LV)

Riga, the old Hanseatic city and largest city of the Baltic States is famous for its art nouveau buildings and its well preserved old town. Reason enough to spend a relaxing day to your own free disposal.

Day 5: Riga (LV) > Tallinn (EST)

Today you drive to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. It lies on the Gulf of Finland of the Baltic Sea. Sights are i.e. the remnants of the medieval castle constructed in the 14th century, the castle built by the Russian czar Katharina II and the Russian orthodox Alexander-Newski-Cathedral with its visible onion domes.

Day 6: Tallinn (EST) > Tartu (EST)

Tartu is the second largest city of Estonia, after Estonia's political and financial capital Tallinn. Tartu is often considered the intellectual centre of the country, especially since it is home to the nation's oldest and most renowned university, the University of Tartu.

Day 7: Tartu (EST) > Sigulda (LV)

From Tartu, you take the inland route to the Livonian Switzerland onto Sigulda with its castle ruin of the Livonian Order. If possible, you can also visit the museum village Turaida.

Day 8: Sigulda (LV) > Vilnius (LT)

Your motorcycle tour leads you into the capital of Lithuania, to Vilnius. From the 16th century, Italian master builders created here numerous baroque buildings and so the old town of Vilnius is today among the largest in Eastern Europe and was declared by the UNESCO as a world cultural heritage and carries also the surname "Rome of the East".

Day 9: Vilnius (LT) > Warsaw (PL)

You leave the Baltic States and on your way back to Berlin, you have another overnight stay near Warsaw.

Day 10: Warsaw (PL) > Berlin (D)

On your last day on the road you head directly to Berlin for drop off your Harley-Davidson rental motorcycle.
