Reuthers Motorcycle Tours Florida History

This 8 day Semi Guided motorcycle tour through Florida takes you to the most historic places in the Sunshine State. You will discover Saint Augustine, the oldest European settlement in Florida, will have a race horse tour in Ocala, the horse capital of the world, visit the former summer residence of the great inventor Thomas Edison, which is now a museum in Fort Myers, and stop at the Kennedy Space Center, where space history was written. A further highlight is a visit in the world's largest Harley-Davidson shop in Daytona Beach. Of course on this road trip stops at the most beautiful beaches, for example Sanibel Island are scheduled.

Miami, Florida

Welcome to the Sunshine State Florida!

arrow down Day 2: Miami > Naples

Airboat Tour, Florida Everglades

After collecting your motorbike from the rental office you will be riding west to the Everglades National Park. On your way you will visit the smallest post office in the USA and in Everglades City you will take an unforgettable airboat tour to learn more about the Everglades and alligators. Your overnight stay is in Naples, the wealthiest city on the Golf Coast.

Sanibel Island, Florida

A coastal road along the Gulf of Mexico via Bonita Beach and Fort Myers Beach leads you to Sanibel Island - well known for its beach and numerous shells. Highlights in Fort Myers are Edison's Home and Museum.

arrow down Day 4: Fort Myers > Ocala

Ocala, Florida

You continue on to Sarasota, Longboat Key and Anna Maria Island in a northern direction and arrive in Weeki Wachee to see the famous show of dancing mermaids. After having been impressed by this amazing underwater theater, you continue on to Ocala, the Horse Capital of the World.

Ocala, Florida

In the morning you will learn more about the magical world of race horses by a farm tour. After lunch you will ride through the Ocala Forest National Park, cross the Saint Johns River (longest river in Florida) and arrive in Saint Augustine, the oldest European settlement in Florida. You will visit the lighthouse and, if possible, take part in a spectacular cruise with a pirates show in the evening.

arrow down Day 6: Saint Augustine > Daytona Beach

Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley-Davidson, Daytona Beach, Florida

You enjoy the historical Saint Augustine including the famous Castillo de San Marcos, built by the Spaniards. You continue riding along the coast to the world's biggest motorcycle dealer, Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley-Davidson, in Daytona. You will spend the night directly at the legendary beach of Daytona Beach.

arrow down Day 7: Daytona Beach > Palm Beach

John F. Kennedy Space Center, Florida

Today you will visit the world famous John F. Kennedy Space Center with its Rocket Park, Space Shuttles and IMAX cinema. After a ride south you will check in at your hotel in Palm Beach.

arrow down Day 8: Palm Beach > Miami

The Breakers in Palm Beach, Florida

Late in the morning you will leave Palm Beach. After a shopping tour in Fort Lauderdale at one of the world's largest Outlet Malls, you will continue on to Miami, where you will return your Harley-Davidson motorbike to the rental office.
