Historical and Animal Motifs on the Reuthers South Africa Round Trip
Whoever is visiting South Africa, will surely let everyone know about their visit at the Cape of Good Hope with a selfie. At the south-western point of the African continent is a corresponding sign, which is a popular photo opportunity. Also historic buildings and cities such as Port Elizabeth offer numerous fantastic photo motifs.
Port Elizabeth was founded in 1820. Sir Rufane Donkin named the colony after his wife Elizabeth. Still today a pyramid reminds of the man who gave the name to the city. It stands in the Donkin Reserve, a small city park. Background: Port Elizabeth belongs to the Nelson Mandela Bay Metropolitan Region. The first black president of the country was Nelson Mandela and in 1993 he received the Nobel Peace Prize.
A secret tip is certainly the visit to Graaff-Reinet. Around the city flows the Sundays River. But that is only one photo opportunity, which awaits the professional and amateur photographers in the city. Also, there are many monuments that were built in Victorian style and still dominate the cityscape.

The Main Characters of the South Africa Round Trip are truly wild
And also the famous Big Five - lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard and rhino - are in the wild more than just worth a snapshot. When visiting the Knysna Elephant Park and the Addo Elephant National Park, the fans of adventure safaris get their money’s worth - and they can lay in waiting for the perfect picture. In addition, participants of the Reuthers South Africa Round Trip make a tour stop at the ostrich stronghold Oudtshoorn, where the brave can be daring and try to ride an ostrich and maybe have a chance to see whales in Betty's Bay.
The Tsitsikamma National Park extends between the Cape St. Francis and the Plettenberg Bay. It is part of the Garden Route National Park, after which Reuthers named the South Africa Round Trip. Since 2009 the Wilderness National Park, the Knysna National Lake Area and the Tsitsikamma National Park belong to the Garden Route National Park. Today the park accommodates lakes, rivers, beaches and a vegetation which is excessive, when compared to the Valley of Desolation.
>>> All Reuthers Photo Tours convey the peculiarities of landscape photography and portrait photography with corresponding motifs. You learn more about the look for graphic accents and different perspectives as well as the use of different focal lengths. Finally, it is subtleties that lead to an individual photograph. For early risers we have the sunrise in the program - for night owls the sunset. And, of course, we will discuss the photo shoots of the participants in the tour group and award the best photo at the end of a Reuthers Photo Tour <<<
