Teddy Herz releases very personal album Welche Farbe hat die Welt

Press Release / Coburg, 21 January 2020

After the successful singles "Rock'n'Roll Fieber" and "Der Hauptmann von Koepenick" the German Schlager singer and entertainer Teddy Herz releases his long awaited album "Welche Farbe hat die Welt" (what color is the world) on February 7th, 2020 on the music label Reuthers Records.

The album is available at download stores and streaming services as well as through Edel Distribution as CD in retail and online stores.

The, as the artist points out, very personal album "Welche Farbe hat die Welt" (what color is the world), contains eight own songs and five new recordings of popular German Schlager of the 50's and 60's, among others "Rote Lippen soll man kuessen", Cliff Richard's German version of the world hit "Lucky Lips", "Wenn Teenager traeumen" by 50s idol Peter Kraus and of course the album title song "Welche Farbe hat die Welt" (what color is the world) by the renowned composer Christian Bruhn, who has already written German music history with "Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht". By the way, the profound lyrics are written by the former singer Drafi Deutscher himself, and since the lyrics are more up to date today than ever, it was a matter of the heart for Teddy to record this hit in his own version.

Teddy Herz continues the tradition of the 50s and 60s - musically as well as an artist. Consequently, all of his own songs were written in the style of this era and produced in the current sound by Teddy's "Dream Team" Michael Zai and the brothers Georg and Walter Woerle. Experienced studio musicians are responsible for the recordings and star photographer Manfred Esser for the artist photos. The result can be heard and seen.

Mood, fun and good mood

Thanks to its diversity, the album "Welche Farbe hat die Welt" (what color is the world) appeals to an audience spanning generations. Mood, fun and good mood - that's what Teddy Herz's program is based on, even if the one or other line of lyrics makes you think.

With the anthem "Rock'n'Roll haelt jung" (Rock'n'Roll keeps you young) Teddy Herz confirms his life motto, "Motorroller fahr'n" (motor scooter driving) cheekily says "But Conny was never in bed with Peter...?!", the funny summer song "Der Eismann" heralds the ice cream season from May 2020 and "Cindy Lou" is about an unfulfilled love. The fact that the album starts with "Zum 100. Mal" is also part of the programme, because Teddy Herz will also start his "German Schlager-Revue" live with this authentic song.

Let Teddy Herz take you into the flair of the 50s and 60s - with German Schlager evergreens and Teddy's own songs in the style of this wonderful time.
