The route, arranged personally by Hermann Reuther, offers a blend of the best that Florida has to offer. And so the ladies can look forward to cruising through Miami and its Art Deco Quarter as well as Little Havana, before the group hits the road to the famous Everglades national park.
For Hermann Reuther, founder and president of REUTHER ENTERTAINMENTS, the trip on an airboat in the Everglades represents one of the most exciting things, which he has ever encountered as an experienced tour organizer. "It is simply breathtaking when the alligators swim up next to the boat and are crawling in the swamps", he describes with a smile: "This is pure adventure for our ladies"! Florida shows its different side while driving to the next stop: Gliding alongside endless beaches on the Gulf of Mexico to visit beautiful Sanibel Island with its characteristic bounty of seashells. With a visit to St. Augustine and its picturesque lighthouse, the participants delve deeply into the history of the southernmost state of the USA. It is the oldest colonial settlement in the country and was once founded by the Spanish conquerors. How could one miss a stop at Daytona? After all, here we will find Bruce Rossmeyer's Harley-Davidson showroom, the largest store of this luxury brand.
Many will still remember the impressive reports on the space adventures that began at the John F. Kennedy Space Center, from the black-and-white television images of their childhood. With the visit to the space open-air museum, the Reuthers Ladies Ride participants will experience the rocket launchers and space shuttles up close.
In addition to motorcycle adventures, there is also wellness and well-maintained luxury accommodation in the Breakers, one of the best hotels in the world! On the last day of travelling, a trip to Fort Lauderdale offers an opportunity to once again buy some more souvenirs. For friends who do not have a motorcycle license, it is possible to join the tour in a minibus. And then it’s time to say: "Goodbye Florida”.
