Press Release
"Reuthers Golf Trophy 2011" means dream experience for motorcycle riders and golfers. On a Harley Davidson to four of the most beautiful golf courses in the world.
Coburg, December 16, 2010
Cape Town – The South African Garden Route, situated in the South West of the country on the shores of the Indian Ocean, is one of the most desired spots for demanding holiday makers. In a natural way and very closely it can be explored from the saddle of a Harley Davidson motorcycle, especially if you have four of the most beautiful golf courses in the world as your destination. All this is supplied by the "Reuthers Golf Trophy 2011" organised by REUTHER-ENTERTAINMENTS from the 30th of October to the 10th of November 2011. It combines the motobiking experience with the challenge to meet the needs of a few of the most traditional golf courses in the country and the competition with your fellow co-travellers as the first three of the golf players can win the "Reuthers Golf Trophy 2011".

As early as in Cape Town, ahead of the beginning of the Garden Route, the lovers of golf can enjoy their game in the Metropolitan Golf Club with the breathtaking view on the Table Mountain and the Signal Hill. For non-golfers there will be an alternate program and for non-motorbikers there will be a minibus-shuttle. To guarantee equal odds at the "Reuthers Golf Trophy 2011" the handicaps of the participants will be taken into consideration to ensure weaker players will also get a chance to go for the trophy.
The motorbike route from Cape Town to Mossel Bay shows ravishing sites like Cape Point and Cape L'Agulhas, the most Southern Point of Africa. In Mossel Bay, at the beginning of the Garden Route, the golf players can enjoy an exceptional experience in the Pinnacle Point Golf Estate, placed directly at the seashore and designed by famous golf architect Pat Malkowich – chosen for the top ten list of the most beautiful golf courses in the world. Also the Goose Valley Golf Club, the next stop, is situated picturesquely on the shores of the Indian Ocean close to Plettenberg Bay at the end of the Garden Route.
The last points of the "Reuthers Golf Trophy 2011" can be won by the competitors in the reknown Stellenbosch Golfclub. Surrounded by one of the most famous wine growing areas of South Africa this golf course was several times the host of South African golf championships.
On the return to Cape Town the Farewell Dinner will take place in the Cape Town V & A Waterfront and on this occasion the winners of the "Reuthers Golf Trophy 2011" will be honored, not only for them at the end of a first class dream journey.
