Teddy Herz brings the global hit "Marina" back to life!

After his modern version of the German cult classic "Marmor, Stein und Eisen bricht" which was named a "very successful Remake" by its composer Christian Bruhn, singer and entertainer Teddy Herz is now venturing into the world hit "Marina", which Rocco Granata released in a German version in 1959. Teddy Herz, who is known to have a faible for the 50s and 60s: "I can't wait to hear what Rocco has to say..."

Teddy Herz has always performed the song "Marina" live in his "German Schlager-Revue". His enthusiastic audience has repeatedly expressed the wish to release a new recording with his voice.

And now the time has finally come. On Friday 13 September 2024, the global hit "Marina" will be released in a new version - danceable, sing-along and join in.

Teddy's "Marina" was produced in the Graffiti recording studio in Munich by Willy Klüter, who was responsible for the arrangement, recording, mix and master together with Manfred Hochholzer. The guitars, ukulele, mandolin and programming were in the capable hands of Manfred Hochholzer.

"I have a very special relationship with Marina, revealed successful producer Willy Klüter in the studio: "Marina" was the very first song I heard as a child - while playing in the sandpit. Years later, I even became the producer for the singer and composer Rocco Granata."

Like all of Teddy Herz's previous songs, "Marina" will be released on the music label Reuthers Records, which specializes in German Schlager. The single will be available from Friday 13 September 2024 in all download stores and streaming services - as will the current album “Welche Farbe hat die Welt” (What colour is the world) and the family album “Weihnachten mit Teddy Herz” (Christmas with Teddy Herz). Both albums are also available on CD in the Reuthers Online Shop, along with other fan merchandise.
